Ryan J. Mason is a partner with the law firm of Desai Eggmann Mason LLC with nearly 10 years of litigation experience. His practice includes primarily trial work on behalf of clients such as businesses, lenders, landlords, and individuals in state- and federal-court cases related to:

General commercial litigation – breach of contract, misrepresentation, fraud, and breach of fiduciary duty;
Bankruptcy – adversary proceedings and collateral actions;
Debtor-creditor litigation – loan enforcement, asset recovery, receiverships, suits related to promissory notes, deeds of trust, security agreements, and guaranties;
Real-estate disputes – lease contests, property-tax appeals, condemnation proceedings, unlawful detainers, rent-and-possession actions, and judicial foreclosures;
Construction litigation – suits on account, mechanic's liens;
A host of other complex business and personal-injury matters.

Mr. Mason is responsible for managing his cases from filing through final disposition by appellate courts, and he has extensive experience with discovery and depositions, motion practice, board hearings, and trial and appellate practice. He is the primary attorney responsible for arguing motions before courts, deposing witnesses, and taking cases to trial, mediation or arbitration. While managing an active, diverse caseload, Mr. Mason always keeps the client’s best interest in mind, and he prides himself on keeping clients informed on case developments and strategy.

In addition to his trial work, Mr. Mason provides clients with valuable counsel related to:

Workouts, reorganizations, debt restructuring, non-judicial foreclosures, replevins, and all other matters related to debtors’ and creditors’ rights and remedies;
Negotiating and drafting contracts, leases, sale agreements, forbearances, promissory notes, deeds, guaranties, settlement agreements, and deeds in lieu of foreclosure.
